Maury was a sailor; One day while he was reading his bible, Psalm 8:8 jumped out at him: “The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passes through the paths of the seas.“ And so he began a quest to find the paths of the seas. In 1847 Maury issued his first Wind and Current Chart of the North Atlantic. By 1848 eight more Wind and Current Charts were completed of the North and South Atlantic and the North and South Pacific and the Indian Ocean. This was the Age of the great Clipper Ships, and their masters, the Captains, prized Maury’s charts. By following their wind and current directions, they were able to cut many days off their voyages from North American ports to the Far East; as were the Clippers racing to and from New York and San Francisco. Check with God when something seems impossible.

From Ray Comfort’s Blog

“Platelets” play an important role in preventing the loss of blood by beginning a chain reaction that results in blood clotting. As blood begins to flow from a cut or scratch, platelets respond to help the blood clot and to stop the bleeding after a short time.

Platelets promote the clotting process by clumping together and forming a plug at the site of a wound and then releasing proteins called “clotting factors.” These proteins start a series of chemical reactions that are extremely complicated. Every step of the clotting must go smoothly if a clot is to form. If one of the clotting factors is missing or defective, the clotting process does not work. A serious genetic disorder known as “hemophilia” results from a defect in one of the clotting factor genes. Because they lack one of the clotting factors, hemophilia sufferers may bleed uncontrollably from even small cuts or scrapes.

To form a blood clot there must be twelve specific individual chemical reactions in our blood. If evolution is true, and if this 12-step process didn’t happen in the first generation (i.e., if any one of these specific reactions failed to operate in their exact reaction and order), no creatures would have survived. They all would have bled to death!

Every puzzle starts out with a picture on the box or in your mind. I read an article years ago praising a find that proved evolution beyond a shadow of a doubt. It was about a fossil of a reptile, with feathers. Of course, upon closer examination, it was discovered that someone pressed the imprint of chicken feathers on the fossil. But, the interesting part of the article, was that it described evolution as a 10,000 piece puzzle, of which they found only 15-20 pieces. My first thought was, how can anyone know what a 10,000 piece puzzle looks like, with only 15-20 random pieces? Without even looking at the picture on the box! The answer is simple. The picture pre-existed in their mind. The reason I know this is because the article ended with the usual statement, “We have faith that one day we will complete the puzzle.” Wow! If I didn’t know better, I’d say that faith statement sounds a little “religious”. However, they’re scientists, so it couldn’t be religious. The fact is, the search for the 10,000 pieces to the puzzle, has been going on for a over 100 years. Not an easy search, especially, after finding 8 billion fossils, not a single transitional link from one species to another has been found! The latest problem being modern technology, things like Irreducible Complexity, (see video in sidebar) keeps discrediting the pieces of the puzzle that have already been found. Maybe it’s time to re-evaluate the picture of the puzzle! Or perhaps, we need to give them another 100 years to search! lol All kidding aside; if Darwin would have had a more powerful microscope, there would be no Theory of Evolution.

On the Theories page of this blog, I posted the question; “how can we know the book of Genesis was really dictated by the Creator, after thousands of years have passed?”

Then I gave the criteria needed to properly answer that question.

One: Did the Creator know things that only He, and not even the writer, would know?

Two: Can what the book of Genesis claims, be verified using Operational Science?

I’m sure the writer of Genesis knew by simple observation, the obvious things. Even though they weren’t so obvious to our public school textbook writers.

One point that stands out is “everything is made after it’s own kind.”

Simply said, every time you plant an acorn, it will always become an oak tree. At no time will it ever become an apple tree. Whenever a woman gives birth to a baby, it is always 100% human. A woman will NEVER give birth to an animal. And never will an animal have a human baby. Dogs have dogs, cats have cats. There are no dog-cats. There are not now, nor have there ever been ape-men. There may be lots of drawings, lots of hoaxes, but no actual ape-men have ever been found. Evolutionists keep searching and have Blind Faith (faith with no results) that one day someone will actually find one. We who have intelligence know, that it will never happen because ape-men never existed.

I often wonder if the Creator of the Universe is enjoying the ridiculousness of this. After all, we know HE has a sense of humor!

Today Operational science tells us that we are made out of dirt! But how could the writer of Genesis know that some four thousand years ago?

How many years have passed between the Creator saying it, and it being proven? Don’t you think there were naysayer’s laughing, before we were advanced enough to discover that fact? What’s exciting here, is the fact that the more advanced we become with scientific discoveries, the more “creation mysteries” will be uncovered.

Each cell of your body contains a 6 foot strand of DNA containing all the functional information to run your body as a computer chip would. Let’s add a little perspective, with this comparison. If one cell in your body was the size of a cherry pit, it would contain a 30 mile strand of DNA. A real scientist would be in “awe” at such an impossible creative achievement.

George Washington Carver 1865-1943 Chemist.

One day he asked God to revile to him the secrets of the universe. God laughed and said; little man your brain could not contain the secrets of the universe. But I will unlock the secrets secrets in a peanut.

He went on to develop over one hundred peanut and sweet-potato apps.

Carver’s research and instruction helped poor southern farmers, both white and black, change their farming practices and improve their diets. He stressed the importance of planting peanuts to upgrade the quality of the soil, which had been depleted from years of planting cotton. He saved the poor farmer and changed the way we farm. Google him sometime.

He knew God personally, you can too.
